This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform to buy or sell used phones with digital signature & IMEI verification. By using Verified Phone, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect (mandatory for legal compliance)
- Identity & contact: full name, phone number, email, shop address (for sellers and buyers).
- Government ID proof: uploaded or captured during transaction (Aadhaar, driving license, etc.) – for police verification.
- Digital signature: electronic signature captured at the time of sale, with timestamp.
- Device details: IMEI 1 & IMEI 2, brand, model, RAM, storage, color, condition, battery health %.
- Verification data: IMEI online check results (blacklist/clean, carrier lock).
- Transaction information: purchase price, sale price, payment mode, warranty period, invoice copies.
- Photos: optional images of device condition.
2. How we use your information
- To process transactions and generate legally valid invoices + police‑ready documentation.
- To verify IMEI against global databases and prevent sale of stolen devices.
- To store seller’s digital signature and ID as proof of authorization – protecting shop owners from legal liability.
- To show your Stock Management, profit analysis, and sold history.
- To communicate order updates and support.
Legal shield: we never share your data with third parties except when required by law (police verification, court order). Your signed authorization and IMEI records are kept confidential and tamper‑proof.
3. Data sharing & consent
We share your information only with:
- Law enforcement authorities upon valid request (you are notified in advance if permitted).
- IMEI verification services (to check blacklist status).
- Cloud storage providers to host encrypted transaction records.
- We never sell or rent your personal data to marketers.
By using Verified Phone, you explicitly consent to the storage of your digital signature and ID proof for legal and transaction purposes.
4. Your rights & choices
You can view or update your profile anytime via the app. If you wish to delete your account, contact us. Note that transaction records (including signatures and IMEI) must be retained for at least 7 years due to legal requirements on second‑hand goods.

Welcome to Verified Phone – the platform that makes used phone reselling legally safe. By accessing or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are a shop owner, you also accept responsibility for capturing seller signatures and following legal compliance as described.
1. Platform for legal reselling
Verified Phone provides a digital infrastructure for purchasing and selling refurbished/used mobile phones. We mandate the following to protect all parties:
- Digital signature of the seller (captured on device).
- IMEI verification (both slots) before purchase.
- Upload of seller’s government ID proof.
- Generation of detailed invoice with all transaction details.
Failure to complete these steps makes the transaction void on our platform.
2. Seller (you are selling a device) obligations
- You confirm that you are the legitimate owner of the device and that it is not stolen.
- You agree to provide accurate IMEI, model, and condition details.
- You must sign digitally and provide valid ID proof – this is stored as legal authorization for the shop.
- You acknowledge that Verified Phone is not a party to the sale but provides the documentation platform.
3. Shop owner / buyer obligations
- You must ensure that the seller’s signature and ID are captured before accepting the device.
- You are responsible for verifying IMEI through the app and checking blacklist status.
- You agree to maintain all records (invoices, signatures, IMEI) for at least 7 years for police verification.
- You indemnify Verified Phone against any legal claims arising from your failure to follow these steps.
Shop owner protection: When you use Verified Phone’s mandatory signature & IMEI flow, you have documented proof of legitimate purchase. In case of any police inquiry, you can immediately produce the invoice, signed consent, and IMEI verification – shifting liability away from you.
4. Prohibited activities
- Listing or purchasing stolen devices.
- Providing false IMEI or forging seller signatures.
- Using the platform for any illegal transaction.
Violation will result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities.
5. Fees & payments
Verified Phone may charge a nominal fee per transaction (displayed before purchase). All payments are processed securely. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Verified Phone provides a documentation and verification tool. We do not guarantee the accuracy of IMEI databases (third‑party) and are not liable for any loss arising from stolen devices if the seller provided fake ID. Our total liability is limited to the fee paid for that transaction.
7. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad.
